how do you send a broadcast on stardoll?

I am a superstar, and have 5 star dollars. I tried what other ppl have been answering and didnt work. Please help.

1. You click on "send broadcast" up where the scroller is (you know , where the other messages are moving) It will ask you if you are sure, click yes, and type in the message1
