On Stardoll.com, if you buy a gift code for your friend, will it keep renewing every month?

Hi, everyone. I have a little problem with Stardoll.com. I promised to get my friend a gift code, but then when I went to buy it for her, I realized that it says "renews every month". I don't think that that is true, but just in case I was wondering if anyone knows if the gift code renews? Because no matter how great a friend she is,I don't really want to sponsor her superstar membership for the rest of my life. Please reply!

1. If the website says it renews every month, I would assume that it would. The site should have a contact number or email. Ask them to be sure.
